I couldn't understand a bit from this painting but I love this. I don't know but somehow this Japanese culture and their traditions are so beautiful that I get attracted towards it every time when I see something like this. And your poetry is too good.

I'm discovering your haiku blog;It's a kind of poetry that I like very much.One of my favorite haiku writers is Kobayashi Issa (among the very few that are translated in french...);And I like the idea to mix it with painting.The result is very beautyful..

Nobu, I love the incredibly simple way the two eggplants were drawn: just two strokes of colour applied with just the right movement of the hand and there they are, perfect eggplants! The poetry is lovely, heart warming...
